Hilton’s Commercial Services organization is comprised of over 4,000 team members driving our sales, revenue management, call center, and analytics functions. These functions are the core of Hilton’s “commercial engine” and are key to Hilton’s ability to drive profitable growth.
What will I be doing?
As the Senior Manager, Marketing Hilton Aruba, you will support the Commercial Director in all marketing planning and execution strategies for the hotel. This includes marketing budgets, social media, websites, digital & print advertising, collateral, and video/photography assets, that improve exposure in order to achieve budget, increase revenue, and reach market share targets. More specifically, you will:
Support the execution of all messaging, positioning, and marketing strategies. Help deliver content that meets brand standards.
Support the development of strategic marketing plans under the leadership of the Commercial Director.
Occasionally be responsible as the day-to-day agency point of contact to ensure execution of the plan.
Work with internal corporate partners, including Brand, Destination, and MEC.
Assist in identifying strategic partnerships that align to the hotel’s positioning.
Implement eCommerce campaigns to support strategic marketing plans, working within the established budgets, including email, paid media, social media, online listings, and SEO/SEM.
Track and analyze the success of marketing campaigns and adjust marketing strategies/budgets where needed based on performance metrics.
Lead creative for all marketing initiatives, ensure timely media placement, coordination of production/materials deadlines, and project expense management.
Manage Brand.com and vanity website content, including upkeep of images, special offers, landing pages, and other site content enhancements and requirements. Responsible for ensuring all legal and security requirements are maintained on the vanity site.
Maintain all imagery and content within 3rd party sites, including Expedia, Booking.com, TripAdvisor, and all Social Media websites.
Identify visual asset needs and coordinates all photo & video shoots as needed.
Pulls ad-hoc reports requested by leadership to assist with ownership and/or corporate meetings.
Assist in preparation for all strategic meetings, including weekly and/or monthly hotel executive committee meetings, ownership reviews, and corporate hotel reviews.
Prepare marketing activity reports on a regular cadence and on an as-needed basis.
Provide analysis to Commercial Director where necessary, to support the development of the annual business plan and ongoing measurements.
Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned and participates in task forces, committees, and cluster groups as requested.
Participate where appropriate in related trade/business-related functions, events, conferences, and workshops.
What are we looking for?
The success in this role will demonstrate itself through the following attributes and skills:
Extensive knowledge of marketing communication mediums including, but not limited to, digital advertising, eCommerce, and social media
Ability to perform critical analysis and handle extensive amounts of information
Excellent written skills sufficient to produce internal/external sales and marketing communication
Excellent presentation skills
Ability to effectively work with department heads, executive committee members, team members, and corporate staff.
Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively under time and resource constraints
Copywriting experience
Experience working with social sites and other applications
CMS experience
Digital analytics experience
To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:
Seven (7) years of professional experience
Four (4) years of combined marketing, advertising, and/or e-commerce experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Hotel/travel/hospitality industry experience
Travel to Aruba- 20% of the time
It would be useful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
BA/BS/Bachelor's Degree
Experience analyzing marketing and eCommerce reports
Luxury experience
Fluent in Papiamento, Dutch, or Spanish
