Job Summary
The Comcast Advertising FP&A, Capital and Procurement Team looking for a Manager in the Procurement space – to establish, drive, manage, and optimize various business-critical initiatives. The role will focus on strategic third-party partners including but not limited to Consulting, Software and Marketing spend types. Working closely with key stakeholders and executive management across all parts of the Comcast Advertising business at Effectv, FreeWheel, and Strategy & Operations. The role will provide strategic and tactical benefits to the team and wider organization. The selected candidate will require a commercial skillset with strong analytical and finance capabilities, negotiation skills, high attention-to-detail, and the ability to build stakeholder relationships – while maintaining focus on the end result. A good understanding underlying trends and where a project fits in the big picture. The staff will be expected to drive end-to-end ownership of the procurement “source to contract to pay” cycle. • Analyze business needs • Execute sourcing strategy • Select, negotiate, and contract with suppliers • Manage supplier performance and relationships • Interface with internal and external stakeholders, CHQ Procurement and Legal
Job Description
The candidate will work closely with the Senior Director, FP&A Capital and Procurement to achieve results including cost savings and avoidance, rate and contract standardization and operational process improvements. The following areas have been identified as primary objectives (which is not exhaustive and listed only for clarity of main responsibilities):
Establish, maintain and streamline a Comcast Advertising supplier listing
Create a contract renewal calendar
Create and share reporting with internal and external stakeholders across Comcast Advertising including Total Cost of Ownership
Establish, negotiate, and execute strategic contracts to capture agreed terms
Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
