Summary

The Digital Communications Coordinator is a member of the Business Development Department’s content team and will report to the Content Strategist. In this role, the individual will implement the firm’s strategy as it relates to content delivery via various digital channels. Working alongside the Content Strategist, this individual will formulate execution plans and be able to meet multiple and often shifting priorities and deadlines. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced environment and in creating, executing, managing and measuring content marketing strategies and possess a deep understanding of goal-oriented, branded content publishing. Strong writing and editing skills are necessary to effectively communicate our brand’s voice and style and to further build the firm’s reputation in our industries of strategic focus. This individual will use content management systems and marketing automation tools and collaborate with the content and design teams on marketing collateral, such as emails, promotional landing pages, and more.

Responsibilities

Specific responsibilities will include:

Design and content development

Implement a cross-channel content marketing strategy that translates business and marketing goals into meaningful content deliverables

Participate in editorial strategy creation and implementation for various projects and accounts

Consume content provided by attorneys, business development leads and outside organizations and extract relevant insights

Build and implement a comprehensive strategy for all owned media channels and paid digital advertising to meet firm goals and increase brand affinity

Create photos, videos and graphics for use on social media

Craft copy to convey legal updates and firm wins in a clear, concise manner

Update firm website, blogs and microsites within the firm’s custom content management system

Project management and collaboration with writers, PR and graphic designers

Email marketing

Utilize the Hubspot platform to build and send emails to the firm’s various subscriber lists

Establish newsletter subscriptions and annual content calendar

Create registration forms and email automation

Produce and distribute the firm's email communications – approximately 5-7 mailings per week.

Analyze customer behavior via Google Analytics, Hubspot open/click rates and more in order to build targeted campaigns

Provide email metrics and data reports to determine optimal client engagement

In conjunction with marketing team, maintain integrity of contact data in CRM, troubleshoot inconsistencies

Adhere to anti-spam regulations and email marketing best practices

Paid digital advertising

Establish Google Ads campaigns and optimize keywords to drive website traffic from target markets

Create LinkedIn ads to complement organic social content and reach new audiences

Consult with third-party vendor(s) to establish retargeting and geo-targeting ads

Social media

Create comprehensive social media strategies and campaigns for each piece of content the firm and its attorneys curate.

Manage the firm’s entire social media presence, including Twitter accounts, LinkedIn Company page and Instagram.

Assist individual attorneys with social media profiles, strategy

Qualifications

Experience using Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and CRM platforms, such as HubSpot

Self-motivated, effective team member, with strong interpersonal skills and ability to adapt

Strong organizational skills, able to prioritize multiple projects and meet tight deadlines

Requires flexibility and adaptability in a competitive business and professional environment. Non-standard hours occasionally required to accommodate department event schedules

Ideal candidate will possess a strong team orientation, demonstrating a commitment to such values as professionalism, accountability, teamwork, trust, client service, communication and maintaining a sense of humor.

Requirements

BA/BS in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, English preferred

Minimum 3 years’ experience in a corporate or professional services environment
